How to Poach an egg and make a yummy breakfast.
Get small skillet and fill half way or just under with water.
Salt the water.
Turn on high and bring to boil.
Get small bowl and crack egg into bowl.
Put english muffin into toaster. Since we use the same toaster, this setting seems appropriate.
Make sure english muffin faces out.
Once water starts to boil. Turn heat down to mid low
Pour egg from bowl into boiling skillet
While boiling, check on english muffin. After toaster pops, put english muffin down in toaster and use the BAGEL setting for 2nd toasting.
When you can see the white around the egg (looks like it is cooking around the yolk and not clear, flip the egg). I find a slotted plastic spoon is best. If not then a pancake spatula is ok.
This is how english muffin should be:at least this toasted.
When egg is about done I pour off the water. Careful, don't dump your egg into the sink. I've done that and it is very disappointing.
I put a half teaspoon or so of butter into skillet and my chopped green onions. (Chop them with kitchen scissors right into the skillet., super easy and less mess).

Butter english muffin
Scoop out egg and place on muffin. (If having tomato I put it on muffin and under egg) Sometimes I Sautee the tomato for a minute too.
Top with Green onion.
Sprinkle on Parmesean cheese.
Serve with Avacado or tomato and onion salad or something yummy!
